We have fantastic opportunity for an EYFE Quality Development Lead to join a dynamic team within the Integrated Early Years’ Service. You will provide curriculum support, advice, and training to the Children’s Centre locality teams and the Heads of Nursery on all matters relating to the Early Years Foundation Stage and develop the role of Camden’s maintained sector as practice leaders for all early years’ provision in the Borough.

 

In addition to its statutory duties regarding sufficiency and administration of the free early education entitlements Camden continues to directly provide early education through a network of Council maintained nurseries. The EYFS Quality Development Lead will support the Locality Leaders and nursery teams to deliver outstanding early education and, as part of the wider Quality Support team, to disseminate excellent practice across the sector. A recently introduced locality leadership model has brought management of the maintained nurseries within the locality teams.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and requires an Enhanced DBS.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and experience of working in a senior role within matrix management arrangements. You will be able to demonstrate skills in achieving service improvement and supporting teams to adapt to changing circumstances. You will therefore have the skills, experience, vision, drive and leadership qualities to enable a high performing service to continue to deliver the best possible outcomes for the children.
