It’s a remit that calls for a range of expertise covering procurement, building surveying, construction services, asset management, JTT contracts and DPS systems. You’ll have built your knowledge managing complex projects or commercial contracts and become adept at analysing contract pricing models and developing technical standards documents. Up to date with the latest in procurement strategy, you’ll understand partnering and framework agreements. You’ll also have a good grasp of financial management including open book accounting and final account processes. In addition to commercial acumen, you’ll have natural people skills. Used to managing teams, engaging with residents and working with multiple partners, you’ll be a great negotiator who’s always on the ball.
