The post holder will be required to hold a Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology or equivalent and have demonstrable experience of working in a mortuary setting. Experience in high risk and forensic postmortems would be welcomed.

You will hold technical knowledge of mortuary policy, procedure and human anatomy as well as a good understanding of health and safety legislation and working in compliance with SOP and HTA guidelines.

A resilient individual, you will have the ability to deal with difficult situations and manage sensitive information securely. You will have the ability to take an organised approach to your own workload, working individually and as part of a team, whilst dealing with conflicting priorities and ensure a customer service focussed approach.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
