The successful candidate will have demonstrable previous experience working with Adopters and Special Guardian’s in a community setting. The ideal candidate will have at least five year’s post-qualification Social Work experience including some managerial experience supervising Social Workers and must hold current HCPC registration.


You will have gained a wealth of knowledge of undertaking assessments of adoptive and special guardianship family needs as well as Adoption Assessment and family finding. You will be designing and implementing packages of support, monitoring and reviewing such plans over a period of time, including monitoring the plans developed by your team of Social Workers. You will undertake and coordinate the recruitment, assessment, preparation, training, support and reviews of people offering adoptive, special guardianship or long-term fostering placements.
