To perform well in this role, you will have:

  • A professional qualification e.g. health visitor, social worker or equivalent skills and experience.
  • Experience of leading service performance management, providing data and information to inform service development and improvement, aligned to council plans.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and sustain partnerships, ensuring service priorities are met e.g. communicating a vision, setting standards, focus on customer experience.
  • Comprehensive experience of leading and managing community based teams delivering targeted early help casework and best practice, with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience of managing and implementing significant change programmes, as part of a senior management team.
  • The ability to demonstrate a solution-focused approach to resolving difficulty, actively seeking innovative ways of working and developing strategies for improvement.
  • Experience of budget management, financial planning and improving system efficiency.
  • Experience of working in a complex environment, with the ability to adapt to new challenges and changing circumstances.#
