The Rents and Charges Team in Leaseholder Services section, a rapidly growing and dynamic area within Camden Council, has a fantastic opportunity for a Heat Metering Project Manager.

Reporting into the head of service for Rents and Charges, you will support the planning, delivery and implementation of the Heat Metering and Billing project on behalf of the Council’s District Heating Network. You will also proactively take responsibility to support an integrated approach to the development of the Heat Metering strategy across all council services.

You will have experience of creating and managing project plans – establishing short and long-term project objectives and ensuring all those working on the project are meeting the deadlines, objectives and quality standards of the project.

You will be an excellent communicator and must be comfortable operating at all levels of an organisation to give regular updates to the sponsor and programme board and administer key governance meetings (including minute-taking).

You will have budget management experience to ensure that all work streams are monitored and accounted for to ensure value for money in delivering the programme.

You will be a ‘people person’ with proven relationship management skills to inspire and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

You will have superior organisational skills and be highly adaptable as you will be required to work well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
