To be successful in this role you will already possess a strong understanding of the strategic context of local government and the place of cultural services and tourism in the delivery of corporate objectives.


You will have a demonstrable understanding of the cultural planning agenda and an ability to influence, shape and draft cultural policy. Developing relationships and building partnerships with key stakeholders is essential to the role including but not exclusive to: regional and central government and other local authorities, education providers (e.g. Camden’s Cultural Education Partnership (SPARK) Central St. Martins) private sector, BIDs and community leaders to ensure a co-ordinated approach to the strategic development of creative cultural and tourism sectors in the borough.
