You’re an outstanding tutor with an approach to teaching, learning and assessment which is innovative, inclusive, participative and empowering. You have a strong track record in teaching and assessing ‘first steps’ digital learning. This might have included helping learners take their first steps online, creating and editing documents, staying safe, accessing online services, and using social media. You might also have skills in teaching creative digital media such as web design, photography and video, or in teaching employability skills.

You’re ambitious for your learners, and for what they can achieve. You’re skilled at providing support to adults with a range of support needs, including those with English as a second language.

Your approach to planning, assessing and recording learning is both timely and meticulous, with a detailed understanding of RARPA and portfolio-based accredited provision. You enjoy building mutually supportive relationships with community-based partners, and you relish the opportunity to collaborate and share resources with your colleagues.

As well as the above, you also hold a recognised UK teaching qualification for the adult education sector, e.g. L3 Award in Education & Training (or PTLLS), L4 Certificate in Education & Training (or CTLLS), L5 Diploma in Education & Training (or DTLLS), or a PGCE.
